Does Sullivan Counseling Atlanta accept health insurance?

Currently, Sullivan Counseling Atlanta operates on a private pay basis and does not accept health insurance. This ensures greater flexibility and confidentiality in treatment.

Clients will be provided with a receipt to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance providers.

What qualifications do you hold?

Jermaine Sullivan holds a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), trained in EMDR for trauma therapy, and well-versed in the Gottman Method for couples therapy.

How has long have you been in practice?

Jermaine Sullivan has been mentoring and guiding adults and teens since 2006 and became a licensed professional counselor in 2018. He founded Sullivan Counseling Atlanta in 2022 after accumulating five years of professional counseling experience.

What is your approach to therapy?

We believe in creating a safe therapeutic environment that respects the individuality of each client. We use a variety of therapeutic tools and approaches, such as CBT, mindfulness, the Polyvagal Theory, and REBT, to help clients navigate their challenges.
